Cleaner Images With Digital Television

If you are one of the fortunate ones to actually have digital television, then you have more benefits that you may not have fully considered. One benefit is better quality images on your television screen.

You may have never have noticed any problem with your analog TV, but you need to consider some the resolution of the images. For example, the cheapest computer monitors have better image clarity than an analog tv.

This is both because of the pixel and line count and how the frames are checked. When are watching television images, they are ideally shown at 30 frames per second, analog TV was never able to fully handle this rate.

What you could see was a roundabout way to fool your eyes. Half the lines were shown at a 60th of a second, while the second half of the lines were shown for at another 60th.

It was difficult for your eyes to realize this most of the time, but your brain was able work it out and it is one reason why too much TV gave you headaches. With digital TV you see the image as it should appear, and at a higher resolution, resulting in cleaner images.
