Using digital editing software to edit images, audio and video

Digital editing software Adobe Photoshop is the industry leader in professional photo image editing software and is rather expensive. But Adobe Photoshop Elements is a cut down consumer version of the same photo editing software and is often bundled with digital equipment such as scanners and cameras.

There are also video and audio digital editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and add special effects with Adobe After Effects. Please note, there is Adobe Premiere Elements available as a cheaper consumer version for video editing.

You can use digital editing software to edit basic images on your computer, such as taking out the red eye in portraits, or adjust images in a video or adjust sound in an audio, or add special effects to images, video and audio. The possibilities are endless.

No matter what field of media you work in, digital editing software is the key. When I first started out as a designer and musician, I thought that the art you created was largely independent of the media.
